Some days I'm hungrier and so I eat more. Some days I'm not very hungry so I don't eat as much. Some days I crave sweets all day so I indulge and some days I only want "clean" foods.
I will say as I focus on more nutritious foods my cravings are changing and I tend to want more nutritious foods since I feel so much better after eating them. Carrying extra weight is simply a symptom and I see this approach as treating the problem not managing the symptom.
Lastly, Jon Gabriel's personal story and transformation is nothing short of amazing.
The tone of his book is very motivational and understanding and seems to reflect the results of his approach. He definitely leads by example! Not entirely what I thought it would be, but worth my time in the long run. This is not a "get slim quickly" diet book. This book is a tool you can use to change your lifestyle. You have to make the effort, this book will not do it for you.

I read the book and downloaded the meditation cd from his website. I found the book to be informative.
It definitely addressed the head issues many of us have in regards to our weight. I listen to the meditation cd every night as I go to sleep. I went from thinking losing weight might be impossible to believing it's going to happen. I also noticed that my stress levels are a lot lower than they used to be.
I also see food differently than I did when I started. Now I automatically look for the healthiest food I can find. The best thing I got from Jon Gabriel's book was help in dealing with my internal issues about losing weight. For me, my weight was my protection.
